I can’t tell you how much I love photographing newborns.  Especially for families who I’ve been photographing since the first maternity and I get to watch the family grow.

This is the sister of my “Angry Baby”.  Who, by the way, is such a happy and smiley little boy!!  Big difference from our newborn session when he looked REALLY annoyed…although he was just sleeping.  LOL.

Always a pleasure to have this family in the studio.

Meet Bridget.  Class of 2011.   Bridget was a total take charge kind of girl.  Contacted me herself, asked all the questions, picked the location, booked the session, set it all up.  Seriously, I thought I was dealing with a parent so I was really surprised when I realized that it was actually the STUDENT booking the session.  And lucky me when I arrived at Spring Lake and was met by this beautiful girl with red tendrils for hair!!  PERFECT for beach photos as the sun started to go down.

Best of luck to you Bridget.  You seem like you’re already way ahead of the game.

Well he’s 3 months so I think that’s technically still a newborn, no??  Well he behaved like a newborn because they’re usually the easiest for me to photograph.  This little baby was so good!!!  With those gorgeous eyes he was just perfection to photograph!!  I’m looking forward to doing some holiday photos in the next few months!

Ahhhh…nothing like a nice day at the beach. One of my favorite places to work. If you can call this work.

A nice breezy day, the sun setting and a beautiful family to photograph. This one was a snap.

Haha…I make myself giggle. Hey…it’s Saturday and I’m working…I’m entitled.

Don’t know what to get for the person who has it all??  I bet no one’s given them a gift card for portraits!!  This year, give an original gift…and receive a little gift for yourself!!

This shoot was a lot of fun…although it was so hot and humid out

that I was ready to pass out.  Whatever it takes to get the

shot, right?

Meet Baby Anthony.  Not the world’s best sleeper (at least during a photo shoot), but it was nice to rock him to sleep and get my baby fix.  So I can’t complain.  And once he was asleep, the rest was cake…and a little pee.
